Subhi remixed the old Shola Jo Bhadke Video Song with a touch of Jazz


The rising singer of India who will soon spark in the Hindi film industry with her cheerful and melodious voice, Miss Subhi, is out with her recreation of Shola Jo BhadkeVideo Cover Song. She has recreated this black and white song of movie Albela. It is one of the most famous songs of that time. Subhi also with her talented band left no stone unturned to make her presence felt with this old composition. She completely gave it a new flavor of jazz and Indian music. 


You will always see a reflection of both the cultures in her every song. Coming from an Indian Punjabi family and further spending her life in Chicago, it has been a learning experience for Subhi. Her songs reflect her experiences and tales. Subhi is a singer, songwriter, composer based in Chicago. She has composed for leading digital platforms including Y-Films (YRF) & The Viral Fever (TVF).  With the sense of Indian colure and American culture in her voice, she has won the hearts of many throughout the world.

Subhi’s band added a new flavor to the old composition of Shola Jo Bhadke. It includes the soulful playing of Alto Saxophone by Rajiv Halim, upright bass by Jeremiah Hunt, keys by Alexis Lombre, and drums by Phil Beale. All the musicians did an extraordinary job of intermixing both the Indian and American cultural music. The song is originally sung by the legends Lata Mangeshkar and Chitalkar. It is penned down by the great lyrists Rajinder Krishan.

The recreation of Subhi and band enhanced the overall feel of the song and took it on to another level. People appreciated and liked her composition very much. Her soulful singing and beautiful vibrant smile have touched the hearts of many.
